What type of information do we collect?
The Friends of Blackstone School (FoBS) community group receives, collects and stores any information you enter on our website or provide us in any other way. Your information is used by FoBS to keep you, our supporter, informed of our efforts to provide community support for Blackstone Elementary School. Your information may be used by FoBS to communicate with you in the form of a newsletter, email updates of events, and notification of fundraising campaigns. FoBS does not share information collected through its website to any third party.
How do we collect information?
When you join or make a donation to FoBS through our website, as part of the process, we collect personal information you give us such as your name, address, phone number and email address. Your personal information will be used for the specific reasons stated above only.
How is you information stored, used, shared and disclosed?
The FoBS website is hosted on the Wix.com platform (https://www.wix.com/). Wix.com provides us with the online platform that allows us to collect your information when you email us. Your data may be stored through Wix.com’s data storage, databases and the general Wix.com applications. They store your data on secure servers behind a firewall.
Donations to FoBS are made through our account with the GiveButter (https://givebutter.com/) online fundraising platform. Information stored on GiveButter for use by FoBS is limited to: name, email address, phone number, mailing address, and the amount of the donation.

GiveButter uses Stripe Connect for the online transfer of funds. FoBS neither sees nor collects the credit card account information of its donors. Similarly, for the protection of FoBS and its donors Givebutter never sees or collects banking or credit card information or activity conducted on its platform.
